There’s something so special about photographing newborn twins, the symmetry, the bond, and of course, the double dose of sweetness! I haven’t had twinsies in quite a while, and let me tell you, Lydia and Millie made the wait so worth it. These beautiful baby girls were absolute angels during their newborn photography session in Liberty Township at the Cream n Cocoa Photography studio.
Wrapped in soft hues of pink and yellow, Lydia and Millie looked like sunshine and cotton candy. Their colors reflected their delicate personalities, peaceful, gentle, and completely in sync with each other. As a Liberty Township newborn photographer, these little details are what I live for. The soft palettes of their session also echoed the clean and elegant style Cream n Cocoa Photography is known for.
One of the loveliest parts of the session was the quiet in-between moments, when mom would pause to feed them, cuddle them, and just take in the first few days of life with two new little ones. These times remind me that newborn photography isn’t just about the photos (though you’ll treasure them forever) it’s about honoring the experience of new life. And yes, a little time to relax and snuggle in the studio never hurts either!
From the way they nestled into one another to their sleepy little yawns, I could already see a lifelong bond forming. Lydia and Millie are going to grow up with a built-in best friend and capturing this tiny beginning is a true privilege.
